  • Where are your products made?

All of our products are handmade in Peru. We work closely with Peruvian artisans to make sure our products meet the higher standards of craftmanship. Our products are ethically made and in small batches due to the handmade nature of our processes.

  • What are your products made out of?
All of our products are made out of natural fibers. We take pride in contributing to the preservation of our environment. Our straw basket collection is made out of 100% reed grass (a type of seagrass) that grows along the coast of Peru.

Our knitted clothing and accessories are made out Peruvian cotton, one of the highest quality cottons worldwide.

  • How do I take good care of natural fibers?
Care of seagrass baskets:
* Wipe clean with a soft cloth along  the rows of grass
* Store your basket in a dry, well lit and well ventilated area
* Seagrass baskets CAN get wet. Natural fiber seagrasses are very strong materials and can last for a lifetime when properly cared for
* If you live in a highly humid location be sure to store your baskets properly, Always keep them in a dry, well lit and well ventilated area to prevent molding

* If you need to reshape your basket, submerge it in water for about 3-5 minutes. Then remove your basket, give it a shake, and reshape as needed

Care of 100% cotton knitted products:
* Wash inside out in cold water
* Hand wash or machine wash on gentle
* Dry flat to dry or use air dry option on your dryer.

 

ORDERS AND SHIPPING

  • How long does it take to get my order?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 days of receipt. First class mail take 3-5 days to arrive, so expect your order around 5-7 days. Delivery date cannot be guaranteed. However, you have the option of selecting expedited shipping at checkout for an extra charge.

If your order is over 1lb, it will be shipped via priority mail. Orders over $50 in the United States receive free shipping.

  • Do you ship outside the united States?

Currently we only ship to the United States and Canada. However, we are working on being able to ship overseas.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

  • What's your return policy?
Unworn and unused products can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Simply email us at hello@kidnits.com and provide us with your order number and tell us the reason for your return.
A pre-paid shipping label will be provided for the return and a $3.99 restocking fee will deducted from your refund

Canadian return orders can return product via any courier service of your choice. We are unable to generate a return label at this time. Refund will be processed when return product is receive.

  • Do you accept exchanges?

Yes. To exchange a product simply start a return process by emailing us at hello@kidnits.com (see above), and place a second order.
